I enjoyed the story in Berseria as well as all the character interactions, but I found the exploration maps and environments to be incredibly bland vanilla-jrpg stuff, with no particularly interesting creative takes, especially for a game of its time. Both games sit at 'very positive' on Steam, and I don't think my experience with Berseria was all that great, and I don't want to jump into something I might regret 10 hours in (again). However -and I might be in the minority here- I've been burned before by the likes of Berseria, so I wanted to ask people who may have played both on thoughts.
